Petrie Buchanan is the UK’s trusted independent, specialist utility infrastructure consultancy, helping developers, housebuilders and infrastructure partners make better commercial decisions from the earliest stages of a project.
We work for you – not the utility provider. That’s what gives you cost certainty, programme certainty, and procurement decisions that actually work in your favour.
We’ve been doing this since 2000. We were the first consultancy in the UK to procure an independent gas network, and we’ve since delivered more than 1,000 projects with a combined development value of over £10bn. That covers housing, schools, commercial schemes and community heating networks, as well as water, wastewater and telecoms.
Today we’re part of the Wallace Whittle Group, combining our specialist utility knowledge with the wider engineering and sustainability expertise of a UK-wide consultancy.
